Recent quotes:

"While the field of dark ambient is an increasingly crowded one, Pupillo has crafted a remarkable entry. Structurally it runs the gamut of modern composition, has a clarity that makes every sound fascinating and indulgent in and of itself, and isn’t afraid to interfere overtly with the journey of each sound where that intervention creates drama or nuance."

(Nick Soulsby, PopMatters)

"Massimo Farjon Pupillo's self-titled solo album offers an inner space for meditation or a view out onto a world of majesty worth exploring......Pupillo seems blessed with an ear for coherence across extended space while having retained the ability to surprise and to create drama."

(Nick Soulsby, PopMatters)

"Jhator is an earnest, nearly on the nose presentation of a universal set of beliefs and, by extension, musical ideas that arise from the intersection of the West and the East. .. In truth, they offer potential routes of liberation and understanding that can only be seen by lowering our guards."

The Quietus

"It’s a subtle and complex piece, the sound design is incredible, creating a wide space through which they thread rich textures and an array of delicate details."
